What is Intravenous Glutathione?

Glutathione cleans the body. Glutathione deficiency can cause serious diseases in the body. For this reason, it is necessary to eat rich in broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, avocado, peach, watermelon, cinnamon, cardamom, turmeric, tomato, pea, garlic and onion, which increase glutathione. In glutathione deficiency, glutathione injection can be done intravenously and intramuscularly.
What is glutathione, how is it reproduced?
First of all, let’s answer the question of what glutathione is and what it does. Glutathione prevents damage to important cellular components in the body caused by reactive oxygen species such as free radicals, peroxide, lipid peroxide and heavy metals. In a rough term, it serves to clean the rust formed in our body. Glutathiones donate their own electrons to free radicals and lose their power, that is, they sacrifice themselves. Glutathione’s task does not only end with quenching free radicals, but it also cleanses the body of toxins.
While there is only 10 grams of glutathione in the body of a healthy adult, the amount of glutathione that we can take with food is 100-150 mg per day at most. Rather than glutathione in foods, our body produces its own glutathione using cysteine, glycine and glutamate, which are the raw materials of glutathione. If the body’s total glutathione reserve is high, detox functions and immunity are stronger. For this reason, it is necessary to provide more “antioxidants” such as zinc, selenium, vitamin C, alpha lipoic acid, vitamin E, silymarin, turmeric, which encourage the production of glutathione, and to be fed with foods rich in cysteine (cruciferous vegetables, onions, garlic).
Factors that reduce the number of glutathione
Aging is the most common factor that naturally decreases glutathione production. Alcohol and cigarette consumption are among the factors that increase the need for glutathione but decrease its production. In addition, not having breakfast and not consuming healthy foods at meals also reduce the level of glutathione.
Glutathione production hours
The hours when glutathione levels are lowest are in the morning. For this reason, it is necessary to feed with foods that increase glutathione in the morning hours. Since glutathione increases after meals, the level of glutathione can be increased after each meal by eating healthy.
What is glutathione injection?
Stomach acids break down glutathione. For this reason, oral intake of glutathione does not work, and intravenous or intramuscular injection treatments are applied to increase low amounts of glutathione.
